How To Ride The Batman

Improved Essays
The very first time I went to Six Flags in St. Louis, Missouri. I was scared to ride the batman. My family was screaming at me to ride it with them. I just couldn’t do it. I told them, “No, I am not doing it now.” So we started to walk around the park, riding rides. We rode the Ninja, that ride kills your neck. After that we got off the ride and my dad asks me, “Do you want to go do the batman, now?” Every time my dad would ask me I would say no. I rode the Superman, but not the Batman. After we did all the rides we went to get some ice cream. After we got ice cream I got the courageous idea to finally ride the Batman. The entire way up my stomach felt bad, I felt like I was going to throw up. My Dad said, “It is because it is your first time.”

A few years ago, on a class trip, my friends had asked me to ride at least one roller coaster. It was not a large roller coaster, but it made me queasy just looking at it. I was confident that I would be able to go on and enjoy the experience. My confidence quickly evaporated when we began climbing up the roller coaster’s first hill. The ride dropped, and I was screaming so loudly that I could only hear myself.…

A scary, freaky, and slightly funny experience I can write about is when I went to Six Flags over Georgia and got stuck on the Goliath. It was a trip I took with a couple of friends in high school a few of years ago. We were super excited and completely forget the ride going/being 200’ feet in the air, and rushed in line to be able to ride. Upon getting on the ride and it starting to take off, we noticed it suddenly starting to slow down and eventually stopping. Then we we’re forced to face the fact that we we’re stuck 200’ feet in the air literally upside down.…
