Also, she said that it was interesting to see how people thought about things like that and how they would react when people committed a sin or whatever they did that they thought was wrong.
Also I have always want to read the book the birth mark by nathaniel hawthorne and so when I saw that he wrote this book I was like YAY I think it will be way good to read .
I would say the main theme of the scarlet letter would probably to be true. Its all about how she commited a crime and how she needs to do everything she can to fix her mistake and also people looking at her and jugding her how she didn’t “stay true”. Even at the end of the book the author, Nathaniel Hawthorne, says “be true be true be true”. Its always a good thing to be true to your values and to who you are and what you believe. The list could go on but that’s just an example.
I believe Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote this to show an example of what the story or journey for someone who made a huge mistake and wasnt true to what they believe (ETC.). Also. it could have een written to be like a warning for teens and/or young adults so they would not want to do that because it is not a good thing to do at
