Considering many reasons why the author Mark Haddon may have wanted to write this book "The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Night-time." I have narrowed it down to about 2 to 3 reasons. I believe he most definitely wanted to different the most writers who write murder mystery novels. Unlike other writers of this genre he wrote about a murder of a dog which then twisted into a story about a conflicted family. The way he writes this book is also quite different, he labeled his chapter with prime numbers. He also added pictures to give an idea of what he is talking about in some cases.
