How To Provide Support In College

College is a very different from high school. In college we are responsible for our own work and to ensure that it is done to the best ability. In this paper I will be going over some of the accommodations and support I will need in college. Also I will be talking about my routine and what I believe will be my biggest struggle when in college. Also how Woodlynde has gave me skills to succeed in college. There are a few different accommodations and support that I will need in college. I know that I will need to have extended time. I believe that this will be time and a half because this is the amount of time that I have had before and has worked very well for me. I will also require a quiet room. I know this is vital because I tend to get side tracked when taking a test a normal environment. I will also be looking for help when I do not understand something. I will probably look at being tutored in both math and English classes because these classes are often harder for me than other classes. I do not plan to need to receive social support from the college because I am confident socially. When it …show more content…
I have often found that I am a perfectionist and that everything needs to be perfect which is often bad because I lose sight in what is important when I try to make everything perfect. In college my daily routine will probably be similar every day. I imagine I will take most of my classes in the evening because I find that I work best later in the night than in the morning. I will also plan to relive stress either by going to the gym or for a run. In between my classes I would work on any project or papers that are due soon. I would also review in this time to ensure that I am not cramming everything to the end when finals are. With this type of studying I would hope to limit the amount of work I do on the weekends to allow me to be social during the
