The object of my term paper is to state facts about police brutality and to talk about its ongoing history in United States. I will provide examples of different incidents that I believe is police brutality. I will also point out my opinion on police brutality, how it affects us people, and how we can change it In the future. Officers are abusing their power and nothing is being done about it.
There are many ways we can prevent police brutality. The ways we can do it is by punishing officers, surveillance and by the people knowing there rights. When an officer is in there uniform they believe that they can do whatever they want and break the rules. Instead of protecting and serving there are the ones harming and killing and walking away like nothing happen.

Everything was okay with Sandra bland License , registration and insurance so after that if he felt as she failed to signal he should of just gave her a ticket and kept it moving . the officer got offend by when Sandra bland said she will not put out her cigarette and I honest think she is not wrong for that either because it was her car .
The ways we can prevent police Brutality is by videotaping law suits, and witness and bringing evidence. I believe if you make the cops aware that you are recording, they won’t act as crazy as they do if they weren’t on camera. If you hurt in police care and it is they fault make a law suit call all the local news stations. The city won’t like all that attention and can’t represent a bad officer. If there are witness around its good to remember their faces and exchange contact info so when u are going to court they can have your back.
In conclusion I believe police brutally is wrong and if u is going to come to work just to use your power to hurt others than u should not be an officer. The people who are not officers
