I am aware that I need to start making changes to improve my health. I need to start by getting a bone density scan done since I am at an increased risk because of my family history. Keeping rooms well-lit and clean and picked up to prevent falls. Start eating a well-balanced meal and increase food that has protein, vitamin C and vitamin D. Adding a daily supplement that includes potassium, vitamin C, and D. Take 1,000 milligrams of calcium and 600 to 800 IU of vitamin D. Increasing exercise daily using strength training. Follow a regular set plan of exercising 30 to 60 minutes daily and doing different types of workouts each day. Including these changes will lessen my chance for osteoporosis.
