Gun violence What is gun violence? Gun violence is a crime that is committed with a gun. Gun violence is a very serious issue that happens in all countries around the world. The most talked about thing in gun is mass shootings. There have been many mass shootings over the years and many people have lost their lives. The first mass shooting on September 6th, 1949 but a guy named Howard Unruh in Camden, New Jersey. He shot and killed 13 people while walking through his neighborhood, this act was known as the “walk of death”. Many mass shootings affect children with many school shootings a year. 658 kids of the age of 12-17 have been killed by guns in 2018.

Being such a big global issue looking for ways to stop gun violence is vital, but first we need to look at the causes of gun violence. The main cause of gun violence is having guns to be free to everyone. In America gun ammunition is free to buy online and you can walk down the street with a gun in your pocket with no problem. Many other experts and sources agree with these solutions and think it will reduce gun violence by a lot if these suggestions for a solution happen. For the future of gun violence unless some action is taken to resolve this global issue in my opinion, it will continue to get worse and many more people will lose their lives. Guns will become more and more popular with mass shooters and other people that mess with guns for the wrong reasons.
