Most kids in elementaries are searching for a sport to do since they will soon reach junior high or high school; while, they are also getting encouraged by coaches as they talk to them about sports which leads kids to excitement. Most of them say, the same phrase almost every nine or ten year old says, “ I want to join everything”. Which they can but will eventually face problems with either practice or game schedules, causing them to stick to mainly one sport per season. Kids wondering what sport to join should take in consideration soccer; because, it improves your health, unstress you, is fun, they get to know new people, and have a possibility of getting scholarships in the future. The main reason why someone should be doing sports isn’t the money they may win, popularity, or the trips and food you get, but they should do it for their health. Currently more than 17% (12.7 million) children and adolescents are suffering obesity according to Journal of American Material Association (JAMA). Some people join a soccer club and after a few weeks off seeing and talking to the same persons week after week and practice or during a game a strong friendship and bindingness grows between them. Some end up having a life time friendship with some of their team partners. Going on tournaments with the same group of players, staying on the same hotel, sharing room, food, running together, giving it their all, shedding tears after a lose, joking around and more than anything helping each other will eventually lead you to not only see them as team members but more as a family.
