After many hours of class work, I finally got to observe my fallow upper-class Athletic Training students implementing their skills in hands-on experience. It was awesome seeing them interacting with athletes and evaluating their injuries on a daily basis. It was an honor meeting them and their preceptors. I had the importunity to build a bond with my mentor, and I find that assigning me with one helped me interact and be active more during the observation experience.
