How To Maxon: A Narrative Fiction

So here I was standing next to Maxon on our walk around the neighborhood. The leaves were several different colors falling to the ground. A sudden chill came through the air. I shivered in my coat and leaned into Maxon. The houses looked warm and cozy. A random person came up to us and said ¨Congratulations on being boyfriend and girlfriend¨. I then raised my right hand and showed her the ring on my middle finger. ¨Actually we are engaged¨ I replied. I noticed that my ring was very loose and wiggly. I held my ring on with the rest of my fingers so it wouldn’t fall off.

People had been coming up and congratulating us all the time since he was part of the royal family. And now I was too. ¨Sure¨ he agreed.

When I first walked in I saw a living room ,dining room and a kitchen. The house had hardwood floors in the kitchen and dining room, and carpet in the living room. Everything was open concept. There was a hallway with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom was where the king and queen stayed. And where I would sleep when I became the queen. But overall the 1st floor just looked like a normal house.

¨Come on,¨ Maxon said, ¨Follow me.¨ We went down a hallway, then down another that had no rooms. There was a staircase at the end. ¨Maxon¨ I said ¨It doesn’t look like we should be going up here. ¨This is the staircase to the upstairs. So we went up and as we made our way towards the top the lights became more and more

Although, I did like that the kids section of the house was included in the tour. Nothing much has happened in the small Floridain town except the annual strawberry festival. The only activities one can do involves driving to Lakeland or Brandon. The school in the area was rather dirty compared to other schools in the district, often smelling of fried rice along with the marijuana and robotussin the students sold among each other. The dark bland hallways robbed of color and spirit usually filled with mexican immagrant students and (of the lack of a better word) white trash trying to co exist.…
