You, A mother, are waiting to see if your baby is born with any birth deficiency. Your doctor comes in and tells you that you Baby is a boy, but he will be born with autism. What will you do? Give up you baby for adoption, keep your baby, or do the evilest thing, abortion. Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. Abortion, on average, happens about 1.4 million times per year. That’s 1.4 million babies that can be saved and put up for adoption. In the year, 2008, 3-10 US women had one abortion before the age 45. that’s 3 or more babies that can be saved and put up for adoption.

Firstly, Abortion reduces the number of adoptable babies, If you don't want that baby to give unwanted babies to adoption programs for women who can’t conceive. Procon.org says “About 2.6 million American women were trying to adopt as of 2002”. So if you do not want your baby, then put that baby up for adoption.

Babies with down syndrome increased abortion by 80%. Women caused abortion because of down syndrome have reduced the population by 15% in 1989-2005. Don’t give up on your baby because of down syndrome.

Thirdly, if women become pregnant, they should accept the responsibility that comes with producing a baby. Procon.org says that “people need to take responsibility for their actions and accept the consequences.”The baby shouldn’t be punished for a mistake made by the adults. Pregnant women should take full responsibility for the newborn baby.
But, Some might say that Abortions reduces welfare cost to taxpayers. What this argument fails to recognize is that if abortion keeps it will reduce the population by 42 per year.

To sum up it all up, Abortion reduces the number of adoptable babies, selective abortion on genetic abnormalities, and women take responsibility. Unborn baby Abortion needs to stop

Many women don’t know how abortion affects their baby, they just look at it as a way to fix a mistake they may have made by becoming pregnant in the first place. I don’t believe that this is right at all. In 2012, unmarried women accounted for 85.3% of all abortions. (U.S. Abortion Statistics) To me that seems like just a lot of women who felt alone, and like they couldn’t take care of a baby on their own.…

Abortion is the planned termination of a human pregnancy. Several philosophers and activists have argued over if it is permissible. The author of A Defense of Abortion, Judith Jarvis Thomson, is correct about her argument that abortion is permissible even if the fetus is a person. This is because a woman’s right to bodily autonomy, which, combined with the woman’s own right to life, takes precedent over a fetus’s right to life. Even if people claim that she gave the fetus permission to be there, she should not be forced into going against her right to bodily autonomy.…

A baby should not come into this world unwanted or with severe medical conditions. Affecting 1 in 4,000 males and 1 in 8,000 females, Fragile X syndrome, a genetic condition involving changes in part of the X chromosome, which causes behavioral problems, is the most common genetic form of mental retardation. One in 800 babies have Down syndrome and one in 3,500 are born with Cystic Fibrosis. Many feel that a child should not have to live a life with such handicaps, and many parents do not have the time or money to constantly deal with traveling to countless doctors appointments and constant care. A 2005 study in the Perspectives on Sexual and Reproductive Health journal showed that 73% of women undergoing abortions were because they could not afford to raise a baby.…

The article “Communication: It’s Blocking and Its Facilitation by Carl R. Rogers discusses his two ideologies on communication. Rogers first starts the article by describing a person who needs psychotherapy, which is someone who has a failure in communication. A person who has communication issues has the issue with himself and with social relationships. Rogers then gives his two claims about communications. His first claim on communication is he knows what is hindering people from communicating with each other.…

Is she expected to give birth? Or die trying? This is why it is vital considering all circumstances before coming to the automatic response of “Give it up for adoption.” Randie Bencanann, who worked in an adoption agency, even goes to state, “And while abortion is not always a regret-free procedure, studies show that the vast majority of those who obtain one feel that it is the right decision—even those who experience negative feelings after the fact”.…

These self proclaimed “pro-lifers” often argue that putting the child up for adoption is a better alternative to abortion. They say, “it is reasonable for society to expect an adult to live temporarily with an inconvenience if the only alternative is killing a child.” (Thompson, 6). By this they mean because of the fact that pregnancy is not a permanent condition, the women should be expected to just endure it until the baby can be born and put into foster care. However, foster care has several issues and is not automatically a better option for the child.…

I am pro-choice, but not because I do not value human life, and most certainly not because I hate children. I believe that human life is of the utmost importance, but I also think that women’s rights are essential. It is not inhumane, or unfair for women to seek out an abortion, it is their medical decision, and it is their right to have control over their own body. People state that the mother could simply give the child up for adoption, but that may not be the best option, and there are a number of reasons as to why someone would seek out an abortion. Pregnancies can be extremely costly, and the mother may be unable to afford to keep the child.…

One reason abortion is a social issue is because people don’t know whether it should be either illegalized or legalized everywhere. Tom Anderson says,” if abortions become illegalized then it will have a significant impact on women and would cause society to become like the third world. ”(Anderson,3) Which he describes as a place where the population suffers from poverty, malnutrition, treatable disease, poor health care, unemployment and lastly a place where women feel little empowerment concerning their reproductive lives. There has been a long existing debate of “Pro-Life” versus “Pro-Choice” about whether or not women should be able to abort a child. Many people being Pro-Choice will use the argument that the fetus isn 't a living person, and rather that it is the woman’s body; therefore the woman’s choice. There are other options women have such as adoption: waiting until the baby is born and providing the child a well-suited family to properly care for them. I believe any way you can avoid aborting a child is better than abortion because you give the child a chance for life. An unborn child in the womb contains all of the characteristics for it to be considered living, proving abortion is morally and scientifically wrong.…

Adoption should be more encouraged in our society because it is a better option than abortion, millions of children need homes, and it is an answer for couples that cannot have children. Adoption is a better option than abortion. Abortion is final and ends with death, birthing the child and giving it up for adoption still allows for the child to have life (Hardwick). There is an estimated 40-50 million abortions a year (Jones). Many young mothers struggle with making the decision to abort.…

Abortion has been around for quit sometime now, and its support is only getting stronger. Advocates of abortion emphasize one’s ability to have the choice of whether that person wants to keep the baby or not. They believe that the person that was conceived is technically not a human being yet, and is a person once the mother has given birth to the child. Because they believe that the person they are aborting is not a human, it is then okay to end its life. They make arguments such as having the option of abortion will help victims of rape, incest, or if the person is just not ready to have a child.…
