How To Make Salsa

Salsa is easily one of the most popular condiments in the country. On top of that, it’s versatile, and very easy to make. One of my favorite things about salsa is that it can be adapted to suit the flavors of the season, or whatever you’re serving it with. Sure, a classic salsa fresca is perfect with chips and a good cold beer or margarita on a summer evening. There’s no reason to limit yourself to the everyday version of salsa, however delicious it can be. Over the years I’ve tried a variety of flavors, and experimented with various additional ingredients and flavors in salsa. Ultimately, my favorite way to jazz up salsa is with fruit. I find that adding fresh fruit to salsa adds a dimension of flavor that you don’t get with a classic
