How To Make America Great Again Essay

The first presidential election I can remember in my lifetime was in 2008. I can only vaguely remember Bush. Obama was the first and only president I truly understood and was able to follow before Trump. Now, with Donald Trump in office, I have entered a new stage of my life. As I become an adult, I become more active in politics. Understanding what is going on with the president is more important now than it ever has been before. In the next election, I will be able to vote. I have to be knowledgeable and be able to find information. This project was a step in the right direction. I can share all I learned confidently.

As a voter, it is crucial that you understand what the candidate you choose stands for. It is incredibly easy to be swayed by advertisements and speeches that are not entirely truthful. A voter should do their own research to make sure the candidates’ claims are backed up by facts. It is a politician’s job to persuade voters to think a certain way. In order to have our needs met, it is important that we think for ourselves to find the best candidate.
In the case that the candidate you support for did not win the election, there is still hope. There are many ways that you can make your views heard and stay true to your core beliefs. Many citizens will protest by marching through cities. This use of our free speech as Americans allows issues to be recognized and pulled to the forefront. If you are unable to protest, you can still show the government that you disagree with things. Writing letters and calling representatives allows the government to be made aware of what the citizens
