Decent Essays
Things are going good so far in senior year, I like the fact that were soon to be graduating. To accomplish graduating I am going to work harder in all my classes and finish my work to get a good grade in the class. I feel that this year I will be paying attention more so i can understand more on what we are learning in the class. The things that i am struggling with this year is attendance and math. I have the urges to not come to school because sometimes i get over it and don't want to deal with people and for math class I have always had a hard time with it. what I can do to improve is to come to class and pay attention and for math class I am planning to take Plato and get the credits. As of now i fear regression as I continue to get bad

For the past year, I could only provide an indefinite answer to a frequently asked question, How was your freshman year? In fact, those of us who experienced our freshman year could be addressed as “college veterans” will never initiate a conversation with regard to the past year. Perhaps they consider that the freshman year was not as consummate as they initially planned. I cannot judge my first year in college was successful or frustrating, but I feel I benefited from the meritorious experiences and practical knowledge gained from my college life. In my opinion, no matter what goals one wishes to achieve in college, whether its grade, love, health, or sense of accomplishment, one has to be prepared for both failures and…

I thought it would only be just this one beginning, but I realized that it has been many new beginning as in making new friends, and meeting new and fantastic teachers. As well as being exposed to many amazing things to learn. Some of the trends I notice on my transcript is that in the 9th grade my grades we're A’s and one B and this continued on to the second semester with A’s and the one C. The as it progressed to 10th grade my grades started to range from A-C’s and most of the good grades I had were from classes I liked and that I understood. The Classes that I had the easiest time with being English and Math.…

I have become more proficient in some of my classes because I have tried my best to keep up with the work, but I have also been really bad and had my grades down because I keep having health problems. I have missed a lot of school days and that has really affected my grades for all my classes. The days that I have been in class I end up putting my head down for the reason I don't feel good and I dont have the energy to do my work or to learn something new because as much as I try my head started hurting more. I think I haven't grown in my classes like I wanted to and that's something that is really stressing me a lot because I really don't want to repeat the grade I really want to pass my freshman year and go to the next grade.…

The main goal I have right now is important because it affects my grade. It’s important to me because I'm going to need to turn in missing work. In order for my grade to stay up and not go down, I need to be consistent. Another goal of mine to help with grades is to go around asking my teachers for help or staying after school to complete or catch up on missing work, and I can’t say it and not do it because that’s not being consistent. I need to be on top of things and step my game up in the classes I'm failing.…

During my second year of college, I realized that my grades did not reflect the type of student I was. My grades at the time were not bad at all, but I just thought I could do so much than what I was doing. I was not really studying much and I was doing slightly more than the minimum amount of work needed. I decided it was time to change this method of work and start really pushing myself to become the student I know I am. One class I felt needed the most attention was my Law class.…

When it comes to making I’ve always had the basics downs, just come up with something you want to achieve. But after taking this college prep class I realized thats theres more to goal setting than just thinking of something you want to do, you have to see what kind of barriers you have. You have to see if there's gonna be anything that is going to hold you up back. I feel that I have my fair share of barriers but just because I have many barriers does not mean I am not going to do anything to get rid of them. I feel that a major barrier that holds me back is my lack of consistent attendance.…

My school community is filled with opportunities to make the world a better place for others. There are so many service trips and groups dedicated to fundraising at my school, which I've also participated in, but there was an atmosphere dedicated to just trying to raise the most money possible and send it off somewhere. That's why now, as group leader of the Philosophy Club, my advisor and I try to emphasize that this club isn't about raising money but instead trying to create a space for discussion which didn't really exist outside of certain classrooms. I didn't personally start the Philosophy Club at my school but I've been a dedicated member.…

I did succeed in making my grades but by the last months of the semester I realize that the stress that came with procrastination wasn’t worth in ad I started working on time management. In high school the words time management are repeated but never really explains. I grew up hating the simple idea of time management, but I have since learned that is means balance. It is easy to think of staying in and doing nothing but studies, but true time management is the balancing the responsibilities you must complete and the things you want to do. This realization has taught me that I can have a “fun” college experience without forgetting the reason I am at a university.…
