Description
This silver knife is made of steel. It has a handle that has four holes for the fingers. The blade is sharp on both side and meets at a point. The brown, leather scabbard with a security strap to securely hold the knife in place, has two cuts so the owner can attach the blade to a belt. There are no marks that shows who made these two artefact, but it has ‘93-2214’ engraved in black ink on it.

These types of knuckle knives were given to the Services Reconnaissance Department who boarded the M.V Krait on Operation Jaywick. Operation Jaywick was one of the most significant operations during the World War 2. The objective of the operation was to raid the Japanese shipping in Singapore.
