The Incident
Expanding from late 1980's too early l990 it had been discovered that six men were killed along highways in Florida. All of the men picked Wuornos up along the side of the highways for Sex as Aileen was a sex worker or prostitute. She would then drop the bodies of the men off where ever she could to simply get rid of the evidence. Of the male victim's the most known was Richard Mallory. At the beginning of trial, she told the judge, jury, as well as attorneys that she killed all six men in self-defense. This was keeping her alive as she was not yet on death row until she finally came to truth in an interview where she told the reporter that she, in fact, picked the men out that she killed and knew she was going to kill them before doing so.

Wuornos was born in February of 1956 in Rochester Michigan, south of the Troy area. After dealing with her father committing suicide and an absent mother, Wuornos and her brother Keith were left to stay with their grandparents of whom were known as alcoholics and very aggressive. Although she was diagnosed with these disorders the three psychiatrists considered her to be mentally able to understand the consequences of the death penalty. After being evaluated Wuornos was sentenced to six death penalties due to the crimes committed and was eventually put to death at the age of 46.
