How To Justify The Tomb Of The Unknown Soldier

Most people perceive a cemetery as a place of mourning and sadness. What most people do not realize is that a cemetery is a place for remembering loved ones, heroes, and givers. At Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier which represents those soldiers who fought and sacrificed many things, but were never found or identified. These soldiers deserve to be remembered, honored, and respected for everything that they did for their country. I believe that the students, who get the privilege of laying the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, should feel proud and honored to be carrying out such a task. I strongly believe that as a leader I am deserving of such a privilege. I have taken part in Student Government Association as Grade Level Representative, Secretary, and Vice President of our school. I also take part in the Morning Show as the Director. As well as being a leader, I am studious as well and I believe that I have deep understanding of what it takes to lay the wreath on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It is an absolute privilege to lay the wreath. This task would fill me with pride, courage, drive, and determination to give to others in my life the way many soldiers did for our country. This ceremony gives credit, identity and respect to those soldiers who were never identified or found in wars/mission.
