Coast Capital Saving’s unique “for youth, by youth” approach for community programs is something that I strongly agree with and admire. As a youth who is interested in business and financial literacy, I am impressed by and greatly appreciate the bounds Coast Capital Saving’s has taken to enrich youth and build richer futures. Hearing stories from friends and teachers about how impactful the Youth Team program is, — enabling youth to garner skills in leadership and financial literacy, while giving back to the community — has immensely piqued my interest. I believe my sanguine outlook, assiduity, and exceptional teamwork skills will qualify me as beneficial addition to the Coast Capital Youth Team.…

I have also been involved with my Future Business Leaders of America chapter and am the president of the club. Being so helps me give to the community and school by starting fundraisers for the March of Dimes, running cereal drives for the food pantry, and donating time to other organizations. I lead the meetings and discuss with my chapter what they want to do and what imprint they want to leave on our school as a chapter. FBLA has helped me reach out to my community like all of my other leadership roles I play a part…

The Northwestern R-I FFA Chapter is looking to reorganize the FFA Alumni. At one point, Northwestern R-I had an FFA Alumni, which was created to support and promote the FFA organization, FFA activities and agricultural education on local, state, and national levels. Personally I think having an FFA Alumni will benefit not only this chapter, but it will also benefit this community and surrounding areas. According to “Starting a local FFA Alumni Chapter Handbook,” FFA is a lifelong organization that begins in the seventh grade and lasts as long as you want it. Members can begin as student members and then activate their alumni membership or they may simply begin as alumni.…

After learning about the numerous business clubs and organizations at University of Arizona, Eller College Student Council caught my attention. I believe that the close-knit atmosphere will present me with the chance to become close with a great network of members, while providing me with hands-on learning opportunities. Additionally, I have confidence that being a part of Student Council will challenge me beyond my comfort zone and guide me to work diligently with a wide variety of individuals. Being raised by two parents that wake up every morning looking forward to their day at work, I have based many decisions in life on one concept. This idea is that when one genuinely takes pleasure in their endeavors, it is clearly reflected in the…

When I see my parent’s work ethic, perseverance, and sacrifice it drives me to make a difference in the community. I want to have the opportunity to show others my competence, confidence, and my capability to excel; despite the obstacles and challenges I will face. With these attributes I want to make an effort to reach out to the community and model to younger teenagers the importance of hard work, leadership, perseverance, commitment, and dedication. I recognize that young teenagers tend to learn by what they see, and I strive to lead as an example. Hopefully, through Link Crew, I will inspire others with my aspirations and make a difference.…

I always have followed the saying “if you work hard in life now you will not have to work as hard later.” This saying applies not only to how I work during school now, but how I participate in activities outside of school. To excel in what you want to achieve in life, I believe you need to put in the best effort and try your best in whatever you do. Living by this idea has helped me become a leader in the things I do. It has helped me put others at the same standard as myself and it helps me show my character.…

For over the past decade, I have been learning and living through the works of Landmark Education (now Landmark Worldwide). The programs have evolved from seminars designed by Werner Erhard. During that same approximate time, Erhard was working with Jensen, Zaffron, and Granger the creating an ontological, phenomenological leadership course to be taught throughout the world. Not only were they successful in doing so, they found through teaching the course, people left the course actually being leaders. When I first took part in the seminars at Landmark Education, I found they dramatically, positively impacted my life.…
