Lisa Godinho with the tittle of Probation Officer at Kendall County Court Services is agreeing to be interviewed. There are several reasons as why interviewing a probation officer was my choice. The main one being the importance of rehabilitating an individual, which probation officers take a huge part. They rehabilitate an individual by supervision to ensure their offenders are behaving themselves, ensuring the offender does not commit another offence. There are however several cases where offenders do not cooperate with the law during their probation time. Therefore, probation officers take away some of their rights by punishing them.
