Having a weekend and weekday curfew would be a good thing for teenagers now a days. It may even teach them a lesson or two about what and what not to do in life. I know if i was a parent i would not want my kids running around late at night. They tend to want to stay out and get into and explore new things but this right here should put a stop to that nonsense. Teenagers need to be home and in bed around a decent time, they could get hurt or worse roaming around midnight and it keeps them from getting into any sort of trouble after hours. Being a teenager having school the next day you always want to be in bed at a good time so you do not feel so tired in the morning. If they are going disobey the curfew and be out late they should have someone with them that way their chances of running up on a predator would be slimmer to none. Although the curfew would not seem fair to some but at the end of the day it keeps them out of trouble. You never know what your child could be getting into after hours. They could possibly be out with a rough crowd experimenting with bad things and that could lead them down the wrong path. He or she could be at home focusing on school work or studying for a test then being out and about real late at night. The weekday and weekend curfew could create a big impact on the community. The weekend one is not so bad for them at least they could go out with friends and still have a good time but once that clock strikes twelve they should already be back at home. The biggest problem is for sure the weekday because young adults like to be ignorant in today's world and want to do whatever they want and that's just not right when they have important things to do like school or extracurricular activities. Maybe if the city council does pass this it would straighten up the young generation we have today and generations
