How To Graduate High School

Improved Essays
We all arrived here just four short years ago, and now it's time to leave. Time really does fly by fast. Just yesterday we were all just freshman don't know where classrooms were, and looking generally clue less to all the upperclassmen. Now we are here as a senior, and we are here today to graduate high school. Ready to move forward into the world. Today I want to say to everyone about our experiences in high school years, and to say thank you and goodbye to everyone. When I think about high school, there are many things that come to mind. Some of them are: good memories, bad memories, mistakes, lessons, happiness, heartbreak, misfortune, joy, drama, and most importantly, fun. I learned many valuable life lessons as well as life long friends.

As graduation awaits beyond the corner, and all seniors are ready to move forward, I would like to take a moment to thank you for your guidance throughout this past academic year. Words can’t describe the extent to which I’ve grown as both a student and an individual science I obtained a DECA officer position last April. At the P.O.W, I still had yet the faintest idea of how to tie a tie, and I sat silently in my chair throughout the meeting. Gradually, things began to change come august. I still recall quit vividly the extensive struggles I had with my first order.…

I’m so lucky to be able to go to such a wonderful school. I would like to thank all of my friends, classmates, and teachers for giving me the best four years of school. Everyone says that high school is the best four years of your life. These four years were my most educational years, when I say educational, I mean I’ve learned so much about myself and so much about life.…

What do you remember from high school? Friends, sports, pep rallies, standardized tests. You wouldn 't normally think of standardized tests when thinking of things you remember from high school, but for many students that struggled with them in high school it is a large part of their high school experience. We should stop using Standardized tests in Texas schools because they have changed the way teachers teach in a detrimental way, have delayed students’ graduations, add unneeded stress to students’ and put a strain on already tight school budgets.…

    Going To High School

Like a lot of people, going to school has never seemed to come too easily to me. Whether it was doing long assignments or just waking up at early hours of the day to drag myself to campus to face the day it just wasn’t clicking for me. I started high school with the intentions of making a ton of friends, taking part in school events, and getting flawless grades. What I didn’t realize is that things don’t just happen like that if you’re not willing to go the extra mile, especially if you don’t have a great support system. High school became a limbo of doing homework minutes before class started, if at all, coming to school late coffee in hand after getting five to four hours of sleep, and trying to maintain any relationships I had almost as…

Throughout my life, I have had many different ideas of what career I should aim to have when I finish my education and become an independent. In early elementary school, I remember wanting to be an artist “when I grew up,” and for all of middle school, I was almost obsessed with the idea of owning my own bakery and decorating cakes when I graduated from school. It wasn’t really until high school until I gave any serious thought to what type of career I should stride towards, or any serious thought to what meaning I wanted my life to have. In high school, I took many interesting and challenging classes, got to know a lot of very good teachers, and got involved in a multitude of diverse extracurricular activities.…

Best High school teacher High school was one thing in my life that I did not look forward going to, with boring classes, boring teachers and homework. Every day I would have to be in the same classes for seven hours a day, five days a week, for four years. There was only one class which I looked forward to going. It was a global area studies class taught by Mr. Fields. This subject was definitely not my favorite subject.…
