Out of their construction boom, their most destructive artillery, and the innovation of water, I feel like the Roman Empire would have crashed a lot sooner than it did without everything they happened to do with the water. Most of what they have in the city has involved a large amount of water, like the bath houses, or the sewer systems. They wouldn’t have been able to make a good amount of what they did if it wasn’t for needing so much water, or just the way they used the water in general. During that time alone, water was so important and there was no way to get it unless you traveled so far or lived near a water source. But just to know that they managed to find a way to get so much water to the city that they could do whatever they pleased to do with it really does say a lot, in my opinion.…
