Racism is a serious problem that doesn't receive as much attention as it should. As a community we should be joining together to get rid of racism completely. Although racism isn't as extreme as it used to be and humanity has taken a giant leap to get to where it is today, there is still room for improvement. Victims of racism in extreme cases have to deal with emotional trauma and other mental health issues. Although I feel that if everyone focuses on this social justice issue, people will understand what they’re racist comments are doing to people, and victims of racism will find it easier to speak out about their issues and we as a community can help them.
