~Sticking to the Script~ I. Felicitous I let out a long sigh as I walked along the beach’s crowded boardwalk, alone. Johanna, my twenty-four year old sister, had pulled me here an hour earlier to have a fun night together (her words, not mine). I was honestly just as happy, if not more, to sit home and do absolutely nothing but lay across my bed eating pizza without any human interactions. I was going to save my social tolerance for her wedding in half a week, but I didn’t want to disappoint her. So I gave in to her request, only to be left a short time later.…

Growing up in a small town, where success in the girl’s softball program was excellent, it was every little girl's dream to be a part of that program. When I was a little girl I remember sitting in the stands watching the varsity softball team play thinking about the day when I would get the opportunity to be a part of the program. As I grew older I would think to myself, if I had the chance to play for the program would I excel like all the other girls have done in the past years? Also, I dreamt, as any little girl would, of how breathtaking it would be to be the person who won the game for a state championship title.…

Dimitri Letsos Narrative Essay (Personal) It was a hot Sunday near the end of May of 2011, my brother and I were playing catch outside when my friend came over to hang out. We discussed what we should play, I thought that we should play a game called 500, which was where you threw the ball up in the air and if you caught it you would get a certain amount of points, until you reached 500. My brother was a more creative and thought of a game he called “Bigfoot” which I guess was a game where you chased the person who was “Bigfoot” and if you caught him you would become Bigfoot. I thought it was stupid so I said, “I think 500 is better, and someone’s going to get hurt.” My brother replied with, “Don’t be such a baby.”…
