How To Get In National Honor Society

Improved Essays
As a high schooler I have heard people talking about NHS. They have always talked about how much it has helped them with becoming a better person and the leadership skills they have received during their time. I realized that I would like to better myself and learn more leadership skills. I have learned so much from my parents already but I would it would be an honor to be able to participate in National Honors Society.

For the last eight years I have been apart of 4-H and have learned a lot of helpful leadership skills as well as being able to give back to the community. I have received many awards but the one I am most proud of is The Herdsman Award. It is given to a 4-Her who shows swine and delivers the best image of what 4-H is all

Before I got this application, I didn’t even know what NHS was and what you do once you are in it. National Honor Society Application Essay For any human to exhibit qualities throughout their lifestyle, one must transcend in certain aspects of their nature. Everyone is born with a different character or personality and not everyone exceeds in all of the same categories, however; I would place myself among the four characteristics of scholarship, leadership, service, and outstanding character as some of the qualities where I excel. I have always been a very studious person, and I take pride in my achievements in the classroom. I was also raised to believe that my best is an A, so when I got my first B it was not something taken lightly. I try to remember that if you put your mind to something, then you can accomplish it, which reminds me of the quote by Mike Farrell, “If you try to do your best there is no failure.”…
