Although getting good grades is not an easy task, it is certainly achievable if the person is eager to accomplish it. In fact, some might say that attaining good grades is difficult with lots of priorities other than school. Because school is first priority, many people prioritize their time and balance school with fun and extracurricular activities they may even take a study- skills class in order to improve the skills they are lacking at. This is very crucial because if you do not prioritize than you can not manage your time and work effectively to achieve these standards. In fact, kids with high expectations rarely forget when a paper is due or their next test. They also make sure to arrive to a math test with a calculator or a pencil. These kids have good organizational skills thanks to their parents, older siblings, teachers, and mentors. They also know what study habits work for them. Using a planner is something that a lot of students find beneficial. It is proven to be one of the most beneficial resources for students all over the world. The next step to achieving better grades is to recognize school as a first priority. The reason why this is so important is because if you make school a priority, getting grades will be easy because you will care about school and want to achieve good grades. Some people would say that extracurricular activities are important. However, school is a priority and after school activities are not. If a person plays soccer, hockey, basketball, football, or are a dancer school is still a priority. And yet, most schools will put you on academic probation if you do not meet certain requirements, standards, and grade average ,they will be benched and not be allowed to participate in practice or games until they achieve those standards, and raise up their grades. This is because they do want people to get good grades and to be able to go to college. Even if they are the best athlete in the school, if they do not have good grades and are not respectful, they will allow him/her to play. These are the reasons why you have to make school a priority. Finally, all in all the above points prove that getting better grades is achievable if you just try, and put your mind to it. It proves that anyone can do it whether they are an athlete, have a perfect GPA, or even someone that doesn’t like school can achieve it. It doesn’t matter who busy someone 's schedule is there is always time for school and work if people know who to manage
