Although this does a wonderful job informing the audience of the process that the government is taking to prevent animal abuse in the United States, this is not what the audience was expecting. The title of the article is “How to Fight a Puppy Mill” and there is little mention of what the general public can do to help. Perhaps if Bershadker supplied information regarding the progress that volunteers have on the puppy mill issue, then the audience will be appealed to that form of logos.
