Dear journal, I had another horrifying experience the day of today. It was the most dangerous and deadly thing we have encountered on this trip so far. ( and I thought yesterday was bad enough). The trail we have been taking all this time has a part where we have to cross the Columbia River. It had fast rapids, huge rocks, and high cliff walls. In fact, I have not the slightest clue of how I am alive and breathing right now. I thought I would surely drown and die in that river. Anyways, to cross over the river our group of now only 22 people, we decided we would build our own rafts and then hire two Indians to help us cross the dangerous river. We hired the Indians for $7 each and they even showed us how to build extra sturdy rafts from wooden
