Everyone Falls In Love Sometimes Analysis

There have been so many songs that have reminded me of so many great moments in my childhood. Back in the time when I was just a pre-teenager, I was always a music lover. As a young girl growing up on the island, I used to have a list of songs that I loved. I had the opportunity to listen to a diverse group of songs that were very popular. One of the hits that made it to my country (Haiti) was the song called “Everyone Falls in Love Sometimes” by Tanto Metro and Devonte. The first time I heard the older version of the song, I loved it, I would sing along with it and even dance every single time it would play on the radio. Then approximately 10 or 13 years later, I surprisingly have heard the remix of the original song on the radio, “Luv” by Tory Lanez. As I was listening to it on the radio for the first time in my car I smiled and started having flashbacks and ended up loving the new version even more. It was fascinating to me how the new version was obviously different because of the modern style added to it but yet it sounded similar to the old song because the artists in both songs keep the same meaning behind the title “Everyone falls in love sometimes”. So, the following paragraphs consist of describing the differences between these two cover songs. Thus, I will show in meticulous details how they differentiate …show more content…
In fact, Tory Lanez’s style definitely made some big changes to the song, instead of singing the main chorus word for word, he spiced it up a bit by adding these words: “(Post-Chorus) Mmm, ah, mmm, ah, mmm, if you let me love you Mmm, ah, mmm, ah, mmm, if you let me touch you Mmm, ah, mmm, ah, mmm, if you let me love you Mmm, ah, mmm, ah, mmm...". Besides, he also included some smooth sensual whispers in the background along the chorus, that repeat after his lines to reinforce his own touch of sensuality in to the

On the night of January 28, in 1985 in the 97th General Hospital at a United States Army base in Frankfurt, West Germany, is the birthplace of a man that would soon change the music world forever with his powerful array of lyrical meaning and word play. Also known as Jermaine Lamar Cole, J. Cole’s arguably most popular song, “Love Yourz” not only demonstrates palpable humility in which Cole compares the two types of lives he has lived, but also distress to a belief that this nation has built itself around, the American Dream. Rapping at the age of twelve, Cole’s love and passion for creating music has spurred him to become the harbinger of rap music in today’s society. Living with only his older brother, Zachary, his mother, and only the image…

Also, Drake says later in the song, “Wonder if you bendin’ over backwards for someone else/… Doing things I taught you getting nasty for someone else.” This further exhibits the sexist attitudes toward women’s sexuality. Laster interprets, “These days, all I do is wonder if you are in a consensual relationship with someone who is still here in the city where I left you… Doing things with other consenting partners that you and your body enjoy.”…

Have you ever heard a song that has impacted your life? Songs are a form of art that allows artists to express their feelings in a form of music. Songs can be interrupted in many ways; some songs have a more literal meaning, while other songs require you to interpret the lyrics to understand the deeper meaning. Artists often use figurative, metaphorical, and poetic elements in their songs to help develop the overall message. The use of figurative terms in a song leaves the interpretation of the song broad and allows the listener to have their own meaning of the song.…

I have so many different thoughts and opinions about this book. I started out loving Has to Be Love, was super conflicted in the middle, but thought the ending was pretty spectacular. Like I said, conflicted. Our narrator, Clara, was rather frustrating to read about because she was so torn between what decisions to make about particular things, but she was a truthful character (to us at least). Reading Clara's justifications for wanting certain things made me more interested in the story and what would eventually happen…

Speaking of the melody, the song sounds to be all in minor keys. Second, the texture-density of the song shifts from being sparse to dense. This occurs in the instrumentals after all the verses are sang. What is interesting here is that the instruments and sounds are added on top of each other while the other sounds are playing, which like what he did with the last verse. The wideness of the timbres in the song gives of this dense texture-density.…

Imagine that your soul mate, or if you don’t believe in them, the person you’re “destined” to be with has crossed paths with you manifold times before finally, formally meeting them. Ironic is it not? Fate is supposed to bring the two individuals together, yet the first time you informally meet, if it ever comes into being, you may not remember at all.
