The activity was to build an ark resembling Noah’s Ark with a minimum of three animals. The methods I used to build the ark was slabs, coils and pinching the clay. I went about the construction by making two slabs and putting them together by using slip and coil. Then another slab was made for the deck and again put on with slip and coils. Then three animals were created by pinching the clay into different sculptures. My inspirations were built upon pictures I saw on the internet of other clay sculptures of Noah’s Ark and pictures of Noah’s Ark. In my eyes, I was fairly successfully with my ark as I got it to stay together and stand up but I wasn’t happy with my deck as it sloped in when I put my building on top. I would do the deck differently
