Volleyball is one of the most popular sports in the nation. At the collegiate and olympic level volleyball brings out a whole bunch of people every year. Girls volleyball is very popular at the high school level also. Men’s volleyball at collegiate level is amazing, many of people really enjoy it. In the past, many girls have partaken in many boy sports such as football and wrestling, but boys can’t participate in only girls sports. Men's Volleyball needs to be a sport in which is played in high schools throughout the nation. There are twenty one states in America that have men’s volleyball in high school. Some include California, Hawaii, and Florida, these states have really enjoyed what the men’s volleyball program have brought to the high schools. Being able to participate in men’s volleyball is something that should happen all around the nation. While playing volleyball you will create lasting friendships and an unreal amount of teamwork. For some people volleyball is their escape, they go and can just forget about everything else in their life and just focus on volleyball. For some people there are other things that they can do but everybody needs to find out for themselves. While playing volleyball you learn to work with other people very well, volleyball is based off of teamwork and trusting your teammates. While playing you need to add apart to your game that is all in your head, the mental aspect of volleyball is extremely important. Being mentally strong can make or break you, you need to be able to not only outperform your opponent but also out think them. In any sport you need to have a good work ethic, but in volleyball it is vital, during long games you need to be able to compete just as good as you did in the beginning.
