Promotion of healthy nutrition should be accessible in all settings whether it is in school, health care organization, workplace, etc. While many communities suffer from the lack of proper resources that promote nutrition, the study known as “A Systematic Review on the Affordability of a Healthful Diet for Low Income Families in the United States” argues the difficulties for individuals to promote proper health on a low budget. All individuals should be able to “consume a variety of nutrient-dense foods within (...) food groups”, limit the consumption of “saturated and trans fats, cholesterol, added sugars, sodium (Salt) and alcohol” and finally “limit caloric intake” (Healthy People 20/20). Both nutrition and weight are equally important because they contribute to a healthy lifestyle by reducing the risks of developing certain infections/illnesses and promote a healthy growth and development for adolescents. Common illnesses such as type two diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and high blood pressure could all be prevented through education and easier accessibility to healthier food
