How To Be A Better Place When Khoi Stands Out?

What makes Khoi stands out is his amazing flexibility and adaptability. Throughout his life, due to his parents' jobs, he had to relocate once in a while. It must have been difficult for him as he had to adjust to new culture and make new friends every time they moved; yet, I have never heard him complaining. On the contrary, he seemed to adapt quickly and enjoy any culture or environment he was in. He grew accustomed to whichever area he was living in quickly, as evident when he guided me around DC easily just a few months after he moved there. He had also traveled to various countries, from Europe to Asia, which helps him to accumulate a lot of cultural knowledge. Such knowledge would enable him to have meaningful conversations as well as helping his peers to enrich their own knowledge. …show more content…
While he travels a lot and makes new friends wherever he goes, he still manages to keep in touch with our friend group from primary school and spends time with us whenever he comes back to Vietnam. In addition, Khoi creates a welcoming, friendly and comfortable aura around him, thus attracting people to him. Furthermore, he always listens to other people's problems, offers encouragements to make them feel better and jumps in to help whenever possible. For example, he offered me a place to stay and to guide me around DC when I have nowhere to go for the break. He is also a selfless friend who puts others on top of himself. Once, our friend group gathered to celebrate his return to Vietnam. Yet, halfway through the day, he felt sick and told everyone to go ahead without him as he did not want to make everyone worried. Before he left, he even carefully showed us the way to the theater so that we wouldn't get lost. Such actions demonstrate his selflessly caring personality that would be appreciated by
