How To Ask Someone To Homecoming Essay

Hey Mom and Dad, here I was wanting to hopefully convey my opinions and view about the dating scene and asking someone to Homecoming. Also I am hoping to convince in some way shape or form that it's fine for me to ask someone to homecoming. So I was going to start with why I think it's okay if not desirable to ask someone to Homecoming. Keep in mind it would be as friends not in a dating relationship, but I have thought about dating the past few weeks and will bring it up later for whenever we are going to fully discuss this issue. I will also try to cast a vision for what I was wanting to do for Homecoming so you won’t have to worry about any unknowns or variables that I missed. Now I don’t think it came solely from asking Mer to Homecoming but it definitely was a confidence booster and I had a lot of fun. The confusion you might say is something I complained about a lot. But the thing is I experienced it and learned. Now I won’t make the same mistakes I did last year and there is probably some areas where I might slip up and learn. Part of my thinking is if there is a situation that is a little awkward I’ll learn for later and hopefully not trip up again. Also if it goes badly now it would be a sign from the lord to me that this is something that he doesn’t want me to meddle with. I learned a lot from last year and this year could be another great opportunity. Proverbs 24:32 says, I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw. I have learned so much from mistakes and experiences that I have had. I believe that this could be a beneficial experience to learning some things about this area and if it hurts a little then it will stick all the more. I don’t want to sound like a masochist but I do believe there is some wisdom in something Chase told me,”Pain is weakness leaving the body.” If I do mess up then well I will be

High school is a staple of American culture. Popular culture is littered with high school imagery: cheerleaders at the homecoming game, senior prom, and finally, graduation. It is a major time of growth for adolescents and serves as a stepping stone into the adult world, giving students the skills and experiences needed to be successful later in life. However our perception of high school and the ‘high school experience’ is rapidly changing as alternatives to traditional schooling appear. An excellent example of this is an emerging program commonly referred to as ‘early college high school’, a duel enrollment program that allows high school students to receive an associate’s degree while earning their high school diploma.…

Think about the typical 80's "coming of age" movie set in high school. It opens by introducing the audience to the main character, usually not the most handsome, most popular or athletic teenager. He sees the most beautiful girl in the school and wishes he could be with her. Long story short, he gets the girl, loses the girl and some friends, gets friends back after much ridicule, and rides into the sunset with the girl. Well that’s how my story goes… sort of.…

I danced on a Competitive Dance Team called Dance Dynamics, and never expected to ever leave. I was brought up a question by my former dance teacher asking if I ever considering being on my High School Drill team.…

I have been an “honors” student since the fifth grade. After graduating high school, I had no intention of purposefully participating in anymore advanced or gifted or honors classes, anything more rigorous than normal was ultimately not on my radar. After all, these are the type of classes I had known my entire school career. Nonetheless, I was slightly disappointed when I found out that students were invited to join the honors college on immediate acceptance to Georgia State and I had not been one of those lucky souls. But I figured it was for the best at the time.…
