How To Analyze Susan's Case Vignette

In the case vignette being reviewed Susan is a 33-year old female. It is reported that Susan is a mother to two children, six and eight, and wife of 10 years. It is discussed that her primary care physician, whom she had been seeing due to migraine headaches, gastrointestinal problems and severe muscle tension occurring for the past year, referred Susan to the counseling center. It is also reported that Susan struggles with increased difficulty sleeping. Susan disclosed to her doctor that she has been very worried about her children getting hurt when they are out of the house; she constantly imagines catastrophes happening to them. Reasoning for using this code is the report regarding her husband becoming frustrated with her constant worry. This consistent worry and contacting him at work, might cause impairments in their relationships, if not already strained.
