Writing is a way to express one’s self. From analysing my writing style I could say it needs a little work. The multiple improvements I need to work on is adding in more details in my work; staying on topic, and using more complex vocabulary.
Whether it’s how we feel or our opinion on something. When it comes to details I don’t provide enough information. I don’t provide enough information in my paragraphs. I tend to be confused on what to say and focus on. I have a problem with how to explain myself. Sometimes I tend to run out of ideas on what to say. In my AP English LTE class, the paragraphs I tend to have trouble with is when it comes to writing a conclusion. I get stressed out about what to say and how to put it in words. Planning has been a lifesaver for me, but the problem is that I take it for granted in which I use when I feel like it. My mind also likes to play tricks on me in which gets me in gets me anxious, therefore makes my paragraphs weak and simple. When I do research papers, any additional information that is being obtained comes from google sites that end with Com and Gov. Even writing research papers, I have difficulties writing on a topic.
The vocabulary words that we use in our everyday life determines our level of thinking. Depending on what I am writing about, the choice of words that I use can differ. When writing a research paper I would have a stronger vocabulary because I would tend to use the words of the source website. All through High School, I have been doing that and now I want to consider a change. I have a mind of my own in which I can read more and expand my choice of
