The short film I will be discussing is How They Get There. By The short film was directed Spike Jonze in the year of 1997. This short film is about something happen that cause people shoes to end up in the gutter. Certain parts of the short film was funny, until he got hit by the car. Towards the end of the short film, when the main character got hit by the vehicle, the editing of the film was very dramatic. It showed slow motion shots of the vehicle burning and flying. Not only was there slow motion shots, there also was fast edits that created an large exploitation and a car crash. Also, in the short film mise-en-scence was shown by the two main character.
