The article starts out in Florence Italy were, according to the text, the Renaissance period originally began and spread throughout most of Europe. It discusses the changes in art and how paintings started to have a sense of real weight and place, in other words they had more of a realistic look to them. The article also touches on the change in the rank of artist, how they went from skilled craftsman to superior individuals. This is a helpful source, it has listed some very famous artist of that time period and has given me a better idea of the changes that was made to art during the Renaissance
