The use of shows, movies, and social media has influenced teens in many ways that may have been impossible 50 years ago. According to Isaac, a senior lecturer, “musicians and performers have long been considered to influence young people in negative ways.” If these celebrities can change a whole generation for the worse, they can also change it for the better. It’s only a matter of taking charge and acting on it. Every day millions of celebrities post on their social media pages and everyday millions of teens follow, like, and favorite the posts.
