How The Industrial Revolution Affected America

The Industrial revolution was known as the era to be the change from the use of hand methods of manufacturing to machine methods. The American Industrial Revolution changed the United States citizens from an agricultural people to one that was very industrialized. People started to perform much of their work in factories and on machines. The Revolution brought many changes to the societies that experienced the process of industrialization. Overall, the American Industrial revolution was a great thing for America and changed it in a positive way. This impact of this revolution lives on today. The revolution not only helped America but it helped the people living in America. This time in history opened up many job opportunities. The mass production and distribution was a huge positive for this time. Clothing ship goods more efficiently, due to the use of trains and other machines throughout the entire distribution process. This lead to more clothing being available in stores at a smaller cost than having each person do the task on their own. The improvements to production and distribution meant that businesses were able to grow at faster rates, with new factories and related businesses opening over time. New jobs were also created to keep up with the huge amount of sales. Housing increased by having stronger and cheaper houses being built every day. Clothing also increased by having a bigger variety and more stylish and comfortable clothing to choose from than ever before. As a result of the mass production of goods, the price of products decreased resulting to enhanced quality living.
