The situation from this psychological perspective is ‘An indivual who has a severe phobia of germs and dirt.’ Having a phobia with something can be extremely hard to overcome especially if it’s a long term phobia, that if you encountered with it, you display certain behaviour that may not be seen as normal to others. The person who may have a severe phobia of germs and dirt could display a behaviour such as excessive hand washing, or excessive use of a hand sanitizer, also if they are in a room where they encounter dirt they may feel anxious, panicky and they would immediately think about the germs that would be on that dirt which can make the person feel hesitant to touch anything and they may just want to leave the room.
