Life is Beautiful by Robert Benigni is a romantic war movie. When a Jewish
librarian, Guido becomes victims of the Holocaust with his son, he tells his son their
playing a certain game, when reality is fatally different. With humor and imagination he
uses these techniques to protect his son from the danger Nazi concentration camps.
Although the film won several Oscars’, many critics who accused the production to have

well with me…the audience I was with laughed and cried on cue. They were
manipulated. Just like the Nazi's were manipulated in Germany.” Presenting the
