Football has been a popular sport almost immediately after it was created. The first reason for this was because it was easy to play and very accessible. All you need is a ball and anything (from stones, boxes, etc.) to create two goals. With time, football became the most watched and played sport with “3,3-3.5 billion fans all around the world”(1). Football brings people together, whether it is to watch a game or to play. In other words, it brings the community together. At the moment, NDU does not have a football field. Establishing a football field could be an important asset to the university.

The 31% of the students who chose this are probably the students who play football regularly. Having a football field in NDU could make it easier for them to play because they could simply play after class or during their break between classes. This not only makes their wasted time more fun, but it also is an easy way to exercise and to promote health.
Another important reason is an NDU football team. This team would make students closer, whether they would be actually playing in the game or cheering from across the stadium. Being a part of a team, carrying its name, feeling that you belong to it, and considering your teammates family are some of many benefits that would emerge from an NDU team creation.
18% of the survey takers said that a football field could attract international students. This belief is a result of the huge importance given to football in foreign universities. By building this stadium and ameliorating football in NDU, many international students would consider NDU as their potential university. This new stadium will give the university the opportunity to add a course, which will appeal to an important portion of the students, participate in sports events with other universities and launch a sports scholarship one day. The students would also be able to participate in organizes sports, take advantage from their hobby in an academic institution and benefit from a discount on their tuition
