When did you start using technology for school? Did you like using a computer instead of hand writing everything out? Yes, technology has made our lives, work, and everyday tasks a lot easier in many ways. Have you ever thought that we are taking too much of an advantage when it comes to technology that we use on a daily basis, or more like every second. If you said yes to most of these questions then you must use too much technology in your life. Teacher’s biggest problem was to keep focused as it was. The problem was just to keep kids quite during a lesson because it was the hard part before the students receiving laptops and cell phones. My generation was basically born into the technology boom. We were born during the time of the invention of the cell phone. The cell phone was probably the most annoying and probably still is the number one thing that bothers a teacher today. Especially when trying to give a lesson. Computers are not as annoying to teachers because teachers can tell when the student or students aren’t paying attention. They can see the computer out on the student’s desk. A student can hind a cell phone in multiple spots. The student can hide it on their lap, have it in and out of their pocket if they have pockets that is, shirt sleeve, even just out on their desk. For example looking up the question on line or texting another who is in the class room or had the taken the class already for the answer. Sometimes the student may even take a picture of the test with answers and then send it to another student. Which in this case is the student(s) learning absolutely nothing. It’s kind of sad this is what a student would do in this situation and instead of just giving it a shot or making a guess they …show more content…
Technology has changed learning a lot in so many different ways from communication evolution to rise of interactive textbooks. Communication Evolution is helping children communicate. Before advancements in technology kids would be doing poster boards. Come on who remembers those good old day of gluing everything a big poster board? Now we have PowerPoint, Moviemaker, iMovie, and everything. One of my favorite things about having all this technology in my school was no more real textbooks we had “Interactive Textbooks” (teachhub.com). I never had to carry one actual textbook around in my backpack I only needed to carry most of the time was my laptop. Mostly everything I ever need to do or use was done on my laptop. We would even get our class notes on our laptops. Basically no more paper anything, which was great for the environment. Another great advantage of having all this technology is no more binders to keep all your notes and homework would be on the computer. These are a few benefits of having technology in the

Schools have slowly started to bring technology into the classroom, at the same time teachers have made rules and regulations where the teacher restrict the use of technology in the same classrooms for the fear of it being abused. I personally have come into contact with different schools with different looks at technology and how it is used in the classrooms there. When I was at the school where they have allowed or given the students access to technology, students seemed to really like the idea of having the accessibility of being able to have their textbooks and school work on the laptops, tablets or even mobile phones. Before the only time the class got to use technology was when they went to the computer labs and that time was very limited.…
