We’ve seen a significant change in the use of technology over the last 10 years and this change is set to continue over the upcoming years. To think that we have gone from brick like phones, to thin and sleek phones is mind boggling. We’re using smartphones on a daily basis - being able to access any information from anywhere we want. We have incredibly powerful computers which can do more calculations per second, than we can even think of.

A camera is an optical instrument that record images that can be stored directly or to another location. There are many aspects of the camera that make it what it is which includes the lens, the shutter, the focus and the image capture. The camera allows people to highlight what they believe in by giving them the power to document the world as they see fit. A camera started of as a wooden box; it was the size of a small coffee machine with a cassette stuck to the side. Which now has evolved into a sleek metal camera, which is capable of taking high capacity pictures and videos. Today about 2.5billion people have digital cameras. Camera phones took the world by surprise when the first iphone was released. It showed the true potential of a camera phone. Cameras have changed what we associate the present with. As an example going to a concert the thing we desire to use the most is our cameras or phones. Instead of actually being in the moment we capture it on film and enjoy those moments later in life. Which is an advantage and disadvantage, because we can truly live those moments or live it through our camera or phone. Most people no longer travel to these amazing sites around the world because they can just get it as a picture. We are not at all close at witnessing a hoverboard, like in Back to the Future. But we are making steady progress towards it. Lexus a reputable company, recently featured their own hoverboard. In their advertisement they show off their recent attempts in producing a hoverboard. And in all honesty it stood up to the test. The hoverboard uses electromagnets and liquid nitrogen to float above a magnetic track. Although, it isn’t as glamorous as a fully levitating board it could result to it one day.
