Human workers, although provide a much greater attention to detail, can be a great liability to a company as they can get injured on the job or lack the dedication and work ethic to produce a well-developed product. I believe for mechanical industries to produce cost effective products for consumers, companies should utilize both human workers and machines to allow for a higher and more efficient production rate as well as a maintained quality in the products as they are manufactured.
