Teens Are Too Dependant On Technology

Technology is constantly changing and becoming more advanced for people, but mainly teens are becoming very attached to technology. Gadgets such as phones, transportation, and computers have been created over time for us to use and hopefully make life easier and efficient. We do not even realize that these so called gadgets are taking over our everyday life. People today are too dependant on technology because every time someone turns the corner they see somebody on their phone, computer or tablet and this has caused a lack of communication and people becoming lazy due to transportation.
,Communicating through a phone has become very popular in this generation, but this can lead to horrible communication skills. Cell phones have become a top priority in our lives, because we have access to them 24/7 and we can talk to friends at any given time. For example, If a teenager is in trouble and needs a way to call their parents then using a cell phone is the fastest way, but over the phone communication can be abused. Especially with this generation over the phone talks are abused, because teens do not want to have those awkward conversations so instead of breaking up with someone in person they would rather break up with

Since so many people are letting technology take over their lives they are losing skills that make them a good leader. Not to mention that the leader of tomorrow are teenagers and they are ones who are to dependent on technology. A quote by Albert Einstein says, “I fear the day when the technology overlaps with our humanity. The world will only have a generation of idiots."
