I personally have come into contact with different schools with different looks at technology and how it is used in the classrooms there. When I was at the school where they have allowed or given the students access to technology, students seemed to really like the idea of having the accessibility of being able to have their textbooks and school work on the laptops, tablets or even mobile phones. Before the only time the class got to use technology was when they went to the computer labs and that time was very limited. …show more content…
With adding technology to the classroom these disorders can be very helpful to students who suffer from these disorders. Different example are Spell Check, Grammar Check, online dictionaries, audio books and Paper Rater. I personally know the struggle of having difficulty reading and writing. I know having these resources have truly helped me in both reading and writing. Before I always had issues with my spelling and it would really effect my grades, when we were able to use computers and the resources that had been opened up, I started to do better. I remember other classmates laughing whenever I would mess up a word because I could not read the word properly. Then I started doing better after I started with the new resources, I was getting better grades and I started to care more. I started to want to do better because I was no longer restricted in ways other students did not understand. Those restrictions made me feel different like an outcast. I hated my reading and writing class, I wanted nothing to do with it, until I found these resources, after that I loved the fact that I was no longer that kid who did not understand the book we just read or the kid who could not write a sentence on the board without one or two spelling

Because students have grown up with technology and use it in their daily lives, it would make sense for schools to start using them as learning aids, rather than books. "Small business owners are now more dependent than ever on technology for growth since their customers and employees are so geographically dispersed,"Although some parents say that they would rather have their children learn from books like they used, our world is changing and electronics in the classroom would be more beneficial. Although some say that it is muscle memory which is why the teachers give notes, 80 percent of the time, the notes will get lost. If students used technology instead of books, the notes would not be able to get lost because the notes would be on their electronics. In addition, it would help if high school was like college in these types of situations.…

This is a great thing for students because it keeps them organized and tidy. For example, teachers put grades and assign the homework on School Loop. Having technology to help students learn is helpful because it is a fast and easy way to look up information. Also students can help each other by texting if they don’t know how to do the assignment. Another reason why technology should not be stopped at school is because if the teachers are not prepared a week in advance, the students would not have a good time rushing to write all their homework and assignments down.…
