How Does Technology Affect The Classroom

Technology is ever advancing and being implemented into the classroom just as quickly. Students and teachers are being told to use technology for assignments, lessons, eBooks, online grading system, and even talking to other students via school email. As technology in the classroom evolves and greatens, the problems with technology affects the classroom even more. Even though the rapidly advancing technology is being seen in majority of households there is a large percentage of households that cannot afford the technology at home or have a home. Especially schools that are found in a title 1 neighborhood, the percentage of students in poverty greatens as does the access to technology outside of school. Students not having access at home affects the lessons in class as well as what the teacher assigns for homework and there is two possible solutions.
Several families and students across the world live in poverty and may not even have a house to go home to. The students who go to school are then expected to be able to finish certain assignments that require a computer and internet. Although students who do not have the power to access technology at home also increases and causes a problem in the classroom which has two possible solutions. First the teacher needs to give students time to work on their projects at school where they have access to laptops and internet to work on their projects. Secondly the school can also provide each student with a laptop that can be used in class to research, complete projects, and write papers. Each solution will cost money to the school and time from the teacher. In spite of the extra work each solution will bring they both will show an improvement in the students and the achievement of the
