But on the other hand, I still insist that technology is destructive to our children. The effect of technology on children can be very complex. Depending on what or how frequently specific technology is used, will determine whether if it helps or hurts the development of our children. Others think that the more their child interact with learning tools the smarter they will become. In fact, this may be true. For instance, my son has a Nabi that he loves to play with. He has learning games with alphabets, numbers, shapes, colors and different sizes on there. As I watched him play his Nabi, his learning skills are developing but he depends on this tablet for fun. This can become a major problem for my child. This Nabi is detaching him from physically exercising and interacting with other children. Which can cause and obesity issue because his attention will be focus on the screen and not his surroundings, causing him to snack more then what he’s use to.
